Distinct patterns of fluorescence signal enhancement suggest an imaging pattern associated with psoriatic arthritis. First, contrast enhancement is present in one or more finger tips adjacent to the nails and continues towards DIP and PIP joints. This signal intensity highlights entheses and ligaments and is often of homogenous appearance without single hotspots over the DIP or PIP joints. Secondly, fluorescence intensity is preferable visible in the later phase of the exam. Psoriatic skin lesions with inflammatory activity on both hands will also be seen.
